Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Daniel Soares of Kea‘au, who was reported as a runaway. He was last seen on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 5:45 a.m. in Kea‘au wearing a blue shirt and gray sweat pants.

Soares is described as having a slim build, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and short, curly brown hair. There is no photo available of Soares.

Police ask anyone with any information about this case to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
