Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 72-year-old Eugene Buckman of Hilo who was reported as missing. He is considered endangered due to his age.

Buckman was last heard from by family members on Saturday, June 3, 2023. He is described as having a light complexion, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 190 pounds, with brown shaved hair, white beard, and brown eyes. Buckman also walks with a slight limp.

Police ask anyone who may have information on Buckman’s whereabouts to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
