Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old George Cruz who was reported as a runaway.

Cruz was last seen in the 2700 block of Pulima Drive in Hilo, on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, around 11:00 p.m. 

He is described as Hawaiian with a medium complexion and slim build, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 130 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.  He is known to wear a silver colored earring on his left ear, Pro Club shirts, shorts, and black Nike Max shoes.

Police ask anyone with information on Cruz’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Greg Matias at greg.matias@hawaiicounty.gov.
