Hawai‘i Island police are again asking for the community’s assistance in locating 42-year-old Landon Fairbanks who has been reporting missing. Fairbanks was last seen on August 3, 2022, at 12:00 p.m., in the area of “Two-Step” beach near Pu‘uhonua O‘Hōnaunau in Hōnaunau.
Fairbanks is described as Caucasian, 6 feet tall, 220 pounds, with a mustache, goatee, and brown eyes. Fairbanks also has tattoos on his right arm and a half-sleeved, Asian-inspired black tattoo with red flowers on his lower left leg. He is known to frequent the Captain Cook and Kailua-Kona areas.
