Hawaii Island police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating 49-year-old Jason Bjune of Kalapana who has been reported missing.

He was last seen on Monday, July 25, 2022 around 6:45 p.m. on Government Beach Road in an area known as Kalamanu arches, wearing pink surf shorts, dark colored flannel shirt and an orange hat.

Bjune is described as having a tan complexion, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown curly hair and brown eyes.

He is known to frequent Kalapana and the Pahoa areas.

Police ask anyone with information on Bjune’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311, attention Officer Paul Rose.
