Hawai‘i Island police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 54-year-old Roger Tolar of Kailua-Kona, who was reported missing Friday, August 9, 2024.

Tolar was last seen at the 74-5000 block of Kealapua Street in Kailua-Kona, on August 8, at about 8:10 a.m. He is described as Caucasian/Hawaiian with a light brown complexion, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 200 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, tan shorts, and carrying a gray and brown backpack.
