Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Cherish Ahulau-Kaleo who was reported as a runaway.

Ahulau-Kaleo was last seen in the vicinity of Kawailani Street and Māmalahoa Highway, (Highway 11), in Hilo on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 3:30 p.m., wearing a black hoodie with checkers on the sleeves (pictured in photograph), blue jeans with permanent marker writings upon it, and purple Van’s brand skater shoes.

She is described as having an olive complexion and a slim build, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 100 pounds, with shoulder-length purple and brown hair (natural color is brown) and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone who may have information on Ahulau-Kaleo’s whereabouts to contact the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
