Hawai‘i Island police report that after conferring with the County Prosecutor’s Office, Jenna Martin has been charged for the offense of escape in the second degree, and bail was set at $10,000.

Martin had escaped from police custody on Monday, August 15, 2022, at 6:25 p.m. and was located and arrested on Wednesday, August 17, at 7:45 a.m. in Pahoa. Martin is currently being held at the East Hawaii Detention Center awaiting her initial court appearance Thursday, August 18.
