Hawai‘i Island police have located and arrested 27-year-old Andrew Amon of Ocean View, who was wanted for two outstanding warrants for arrest, as well as for questioning in other criminal investigations.

On August 18, 2023, after conferring with the County Prosecutors Office, Detectives charged Amon with the following offenses:

•        Robbery 2
•        Criminal Contempt

His bail was set at $5,500.00.

Amon remained in police custody and made his initial court appearance on Monday, August 21, 2023, in Kona District Court.

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Amon.
