Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old John Histo III, who was reported as a runaway.

Histo III was last seen in the area of the 1700 block of Kino‘ole Street in Hilo on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at 2:45 p.m.

He is described as being Hawaiian with a brown complexion, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 120 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, blue shorts, and white crocs.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
