REPORT NO. C07001211

Big Island police have arrested two men they were seeking in connection with a home invasion burglary and assault at a home in the Ainaloa subdivision in Puna late in the evening of January 11, 2007.

Jessie Campbell, 21, and Cavin Campbell, 25, were arrested Friday without incident in the Hilo industrial area on suspicion of burglary, assault and criminal property damage. They have not been charged.

The two men are being held at the Hilo police cellblock while detectives from the Criminal Investigation’s Section continue the investigation.

Police were summoned to the Puna residence just before midnight on January 11 in response to a report that two men had entered the home and assaulted one of its occupants. A 40-year-old man received injuries during the attack but did not require any immediate medical attention.
