A house fire Monday (February 10, 2003) destroyed a home on Kaiminani Drive in Kona.

The blaze, reported at 11:12 a.m., caused an estimated $300,000 damage to the house and its contents.

There were no reported injuries caused by the blaze.

Fire investigators are investigating the cause of the fire, but there were no immediate indications of foul play.

The fire forced police to close a section of Kaiminani Drive as firefighters fought the blaze.
