Media Release

The Hawaii Isle Police Activities League program (HI-PAL) will hold a second round of its Boys and Girls Intermediate School Basketball League in April and May.

This league is for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students only and all participants must represent an intermediate or middle school. Teams will be formed within the interested students’ schools and will compete against other participating schools. Teams from outside organizations are not permitted to participate. Home school students and students from schools unable to form a full team may be combined into a team.

A schedule of games will be provided prior to the first games.

The HI-PAL program would like to encourage responsible adults to get involved and coach a team in this league. Interested coaches and anyone with questions about the league are asked to call Office Joseph Botelho Jr. at 961-2219, 961-2220 or 896-9710. The HI-PAL fax number is 961-2219 or 961-8120.
