The Hawaii Isle Police Activities League is sponsoring its annual HI-PAL Girls 12 & Under Elementary School Basketball Tournament.

The tournament is open to girls in the third through the sixth grade at schools in both East and West Hawaii.

Tournament games will be played on Friday, March 11, 2005, and Saturday, March 12, 2005. All games will be played at the Piihonua gymnasium at the Carvalho Park complex in Hilo.

Teams interested in participating are encouraged to register with the HI-PAL offices in Hilo or Kona.

The tournament will be limited to the first eight teams to register, and the deadline for registration will be on Friday, March 4, 2005, or as soon as the first eight teams have signed up.
