The Hawaii Island Police Activities League (HI-PAL), in collaboration with Ben Pana and the Keaukaha Community Association Athletics Program, will sponsor a three-on-three basketball tournament in Keaukaha on October 27. This one-day tournament, called “Halloween Havoc,” will take place at the Kawananakoa Gymnasium.

Team registration is open to the first 12 teams in the following age divisions: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, girls 12 and under, girls 14 and under. Police ask individuals interested in entering a team or teams to call the HI-PAL office in Hilo at 961-2219 or 961-2220.

The deadline to register is October 12.

Coaches interested in participating are encouraged to turn in their team rosters as soon as possible. The rosters sheets are part of packets that may be picked up at the HI-PAL office or by making special arrangements.
