The Hawaii Police Department has located 10-year-old Shellsea Gouveia-Asuncion, who was reported missing on August 19. She was found Thursday morning (August 21) in Kailua-Kona in good health.

Acting Detective Walter Ah Mow said tips from the public helped police conclude this case quickly. “We want to thank all the concerned citizens who helped us find this missing child,” he said.
