MEDIA RELEASE

Big Island police are trying to locate a 17-year-old girl who has been missing from her Pepeekeo home in South Hilo since May 5, 1999.

The missing girl, Holly White, is described as a Caucasian, being 5-feet-4 in height, weighing about 120 pounds and having blondish brown hair and green eyes.

White may be driving a 1987 silver Nissan Sentra with the license plate number HYA-976.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Detective Lawrence Balberde of the Juvenile Aid Section at 961-2276 or the police emergency telephone number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All information given to Crime Stoppers is kept strictly confidential.
