MEDIA RELEASE

Big Island police are searching for a 17-year-old girl reported missing from her Pahoa home since April 23, 2007. Her name is Chandal Lancaster. She is described as Caucasian, 5-feet tall, about 230 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information about her whereabouts to call Officer Charrise Wakita at 961-2213 or the Police Department’s non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
