…missing since August 22

The Hawaii Police Department is assisting the Honolulu Police Department in searching for a 17-year-old boy reported missing from his Oahu residence since August 22.

Hans Poouahi Jr. is described as Hawaiian, 5-foot-8, about 148 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police believe he may be somewhere on the Big Island.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
