…missing since April 22

Media Release

The Hawaii Police Department is looking for a 17-year old boy reported missing.

Ikaika Renken-Gonsalves of Kailua-Kona failed to return home on April 22. He is described as part Hawaiian, about 5-foot-10, about 125 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen in the Kona town area. He was wearing a white shirt, plaid shorts and carrying a large plaid backpack and boogie board.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Acting Detective Walter Ah Mow at 326-4646, extension 265, or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
