Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 45-year-old Hilo woman who was reported missing early Monday evening (February 4).

Ernestine Lum, who also goes by the name Adele, was last seen on Waianuenue Avenue in Hilo early Sunday morning (February 3). She is described as Hawaiian-Chinese, between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall, 125-to-150 pounds with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes. She walks with a limp and typically wears biker-type clothing.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call Officer Anson Caceres at 961-2218 or the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
