MEDIA RELEASE UPDATE

The Attorney General’s Office has released three persons its investigators arrested Wednesday (March 20, 2002) for second-degree theft.

At 9 a.m. Thursday, the suspects — Robert Diego, Momi Diego and Bobbie Jean Diego — were released from the Hilo police cellblock pending further investigation by investigators from the Attorney General’s Office.

Hawaii County police officers assisted the State Attorney General’s Office in only processing and holding overnight the three suspects, all affiliated with Memorial Mortuary Funeral Plan, Inc.
