The Hawai’i Police Department is advising motorists to expect possible traffic delays on Thursday (July 16) while the motorcade responsible for escorting the Emperor and Empress of Japan safely transports the royal couple between designated sites on the Big Island.

Delays in traffic flow are expected throughout the day in Kona, Waikoloa and Waimea.
