Hawaiʻi Island police are looking for a 36-year-old man wanted on a warrant and for questioning.

Chad Simmerman, who has no permanent address but frequents the South Kohala and Kona areas, is wanted on a bench warrant for contempt of court. He is also wanted for questioning in connection with violation of order and criminal property damage investigations.

He is described as about 5-foot-9, 145 pounds with brown eyes and light brown or blond shoulder-length hair.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts not to approach him but to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
