…wanted for failing to surrender for sentencing

Media Release

The Hawaii Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 56-year-old Kona man who is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service.

Thomas James Crowe was sentenced to 57 months in federal prison for possession of child pornography. A federal warrant was issued for his arrest on November 20 for failure to surrender for sentencing and violating terms of supervised release.

Crowe is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-10, about 170 pounds with blue eyes and gray or partially gray hair.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
