Media Release

Big Island Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 24-year-old suspect wanted on numerous outstanding bench warrants.

The suspect was identified as Junior Kaimi Santiago. He is known to frequent the Hilo and Puna Districts.

Santiago is described as part Hawaiian, 5-foot-11, about 185 pounds with brown eyes and long brown hair. He has a tattoo of the name " Santiago" in old English letters across his chest.

Police consider Santiago, dangerous and caution members of the public against approaching or attempting to apprehend him.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311.
