Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 27-year-old Hilo man wanted for a warrant.

Kalani Vegas Ahuna is part Hawaiian, about 5-foot-11, about 170 pounds with short brown hair and brown eyes.

He is wanted on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court and is also wanted for questioning in connection with a theft investigation.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts contact Detective Royce Serrao by phone at 961-8810 or by email at rpserrao@co.hawaii.hi.us or Detective John Rodrigues Jr. by phone at 961-2384 or by email at jrodrigues@co.hawaii.hi.us.
