Representatives from companies working on the Pakini Nui South Point Windmill Project will hold another traffic advisory informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 12, at the Naalehu Community Center.

The meeting is to inform the public again about temporary road closures during the transportation of large components for 14 windmills from Hilo to South Point over the next two months.

Representatives from the Hawaii Police Department and the state Department of Transportation will be there to answer questions from the public. Police Captain Marshall Kanehailua, commander of the Ka’u District, encourages citizens who may be inconvenienced by the movement to attend the meeting.
