Deadline for basketball tourney extended 02-24-03

The Hawaii County Police Department has extended the deadline for its first “Click It or Ticket” 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament from Monday, February 24, to Friday, February 28, 2003.

The tournament is scheduled for March 8 and 9, 2003, at the Konawaena Gymnasium.

Entries are still being accepted in the following divisions: 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17 (co-ed), 12 and under girls, 14 and under girls and 15-17 girls. An 8 and under division has also been added to the tournament.

Interested teams should call Sergeant Randy Apele at 961-2305 or Officer Joseph Kealoha of the Hawaii Isle Police Activities League (HI-PAL) at 899-9205.
