MEDIA RELEASE

The Hawaii Isle Police Activities League (HI-PAL) is sponsoring its sixth annual HI-PAL 8 and Under Basketball Jam, to be held September 26-28, 2003, at the Papaikou gym.

The tournament will be limited to the first 12 teams, and advance level teams interested in playing are urged to call the HI-PAL office.

The tournament format will be pool play, and the top two teams in each bracket will advance to a single elimination tournament. Awards will be presented Sunday, September 28, 2003.

Those who wish to register or who want more information are asked to call the HI-PAL office at 961-2219 or 961-2220.
