A 33-year-old Holualoa man died Saturday (April 22, 2000) after being stabbed in a domestic dispute at a Holualoa residence.

Responding to a 12:22 p.m. call, Kona determined that the man was involved in a dispute with his 37-year-old brother, who allegedly stabbed him in the chest with a kitchen carving knife.

The victim was transported to the Kona Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:14 p.m.

The suspect is being held in the Kona police cellblock pending further investigation by the Kona Criminal Investigation Section detectives.

The case has been classified as a murder.
