Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating three musical instruments that were stolen from a home in Waipunalei.

The items have been identified as a Dobro steel guitar with a blue face, a Gypsy jazz guitar and a mandolin. They were taken sometime between November 13 and November 21.

The owner is offering a reward with no questions asked for the return of the instruments.

Police ask anyone with information about the stolen items to call Officer Mike DeCoito of the North Hilo district at 962-2120 or the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311. Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
